Nottingham City Harriers 2018- Training for road, cross country running, fell racing

Calver Peak Finish from the pub :) Results: Andrew Hunter 20th (S) ~36:05 Gary McMahon (D) 32nd, 2nd (V50) 37:10 Nick Lander 62nd 39:58 Simon Elliott 64th (V50) 40:15 Report (Andy Hunter) The evenings entertainment started with a left handed catch from Dark Peaks Andy Moore, following a single road bounce into the registration area, definitely a 6 for that one. Thanks to Simon for driving, the next 6 went past his motor and across the car park. A pleasant evening, not too hot and very dry under foot. No surprises with the course, the steep climb out the village sorted out the men from the boys ready for the steeper parts to come. Gary let me go from the start and watched me slowly get away, Simon struggled with the steep start, so a tougher warm up for him in future.
